New Science Activities Crafted For FL NGSSS. In partnership with Duval County Public Schools and Osceola County Public Schools, Penda Learning is developing 200+ new science activities that will be specifically crafted for select Florida NGSSS standards for the following science courses:

- Grade 5 Science: 45 new activities (15 standards x 3 activities per standard)

- Grade 8 Comprehensive Science 3: 60 new activities (20 standards x 3 activities per standard)

- Grade 8 Physical Science: 60 new activities (20 standards x 3 activities per standard)

- High School Biology: 45 new activities (15 standards x 3 activities per standard)

To better support FL State Science Assessment (SSA) and high-stakes assessment prep in accountability grade-level courses, 3 activities of varying cognitive levels will be crafted for each standard. The activities will be built to assess the three levels of "Evidence of Learning" criteria:

- Developing

- Achieving

- Excelling

The 200+ new Penda science activities will be available to students and teachers in August 2019.
